Lol Dave. You should specify mk2 or mk3 but WTF?
Why would you consider that in a VAG?
You are joking right?

Mk3 RS engines are breaking in the UK so yeah, it's eeew to having one IMO. The MK2 is a far better engine......

Don't get me wrong, I think the MK3 is a great car but with serious reliability issues happening, I would be worried owning one.

So back on topic, the only place I know that might have an RS 5 pot not in a car could be RS Shop in Albury.

Gordon bought the firebombed RS and a smashed one. That did break the sump and lose it's oil. Went over a roundabout I think.

What car have you got now Dave? Volvo?

Gotta say, the RS donk is fun in my car. Now that I work in Sydney again, it's learnt to be more aggressive and 2nd gear rips 😝

There's a mondeo for sale cheap with a blown motor. Thought it could be a good donor car.
You're  back in Sydney? Wanna come check it out with me?

Forging is a waste of time unless you know of a tune for a Mondeo that will see well over 400HP, buy a XR5 engine, block mod it, throw in some Newman cams a K16, water/meth and run Stage IV tune and you might hit 380HP, if your really worried just install RS rods and pistons
